The Westlake CR976A is a highway terrain, all season tire made for the all axle position of commercial vehicles. The tread design manages to eliminate rocks stuck between the tread elements. This prevents rocks from drilling into the casing, promoting better stone retention prevention and offering a safer, damage-resistant performance.
The stabilized tread elements along the footprint allow the tire to stabilize the tread elements. This enables the tire to prevent tread flexing which can generate unnecessary friction between the tire and the road surface. As a result, the tire is able to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the footprint, preventing irregular wear formations and elongating the usability.
The Westlake CR976A upgrades the controllability. The symmetric ribbed tread design maintains the surface contact while the tires are in motion. Better road contact improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In this manner, the tire is able to provide a quicker and more precise response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The stronger load durability keeps the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure.
