The Toyo M170 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. It was made for the vehicle’s steer axle. The tire utilizes its wider ribbed pattern to enhance controllability while stronger compound materials prevent the tire from flexing under great pressure.
This model comes with an improved tread life thanks to the durable materials and ideal tread design. The wider tread pattern manages to closely follow the road surface and evenly distribute the load and driving pressure across the tread area, preventing irregular and premature tread wear formations. As a result, the tread wear rate is slowed down.
The Toyo M170 comes with a reinforced internal construction that maintains the ideal tire shape while under heavy load and pressure. As the tire does not deform while under the pressure, it is able to carry and withstand heavy loads for extended periods of time. The strong construction also manages to ease off the pressure off the tire, lowering the rolling resistance. In other words, the tire needs less energy to maintain a forward motion, lowering the fuel intake and CO2 emissions.
