Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Toyo Open Country R/T is a rugged terrain, all season tire made for light trucks and SUVs. Toyo offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with new tires of this model.
The model utilizes the all season compound and the optimal tread pattern to boost the all weather traction. This enables the tire to strengthen the compound flexibility in versatile weather situations, while the tread elements increase the grip on the road surface with additional biting edges. This combination ensures the tire's safer on- and off-road performance throughout the year. The tread's high void ratio helps to combat hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from the footprint during the tire's on-road performance, guaranteeing a safer dry, wet, and winter weather grip.
The aggressive tread design also greatly boosts the rugged terrain performance. The large, staggered tread elements upgrade the grip on the soft, loose, and uneven terrain surfaces, while also enhancing the on-road driving safety levels. The ideal footprint upgrades the grip on the road and terrain surface, ensuring forward motion at all times. In this manner, the tire is able to securely perform through deep mud. The tread also eliminates mud and snow stuck between the trad elements. As a result, snow and mud cannot block the tire's surface contact, upgrading the driving safety with the optimized terrain contact.
The durable compound, the reinforced construction, and the tread's self-cleaning nature prevent damage. The compound elements protect the tire from tread damage. They actively resist the tread's chipping, cracking, and tearing. The strengthened internal structure keeps the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure, while also avoiding punctures, cuts, and impact damage from shortening the tire's service life. The tread design manages to eliminate rocks stuck in the footprint before they can drill into the casing and harm the tire. This promotes a secure off-road performing capability.
The Toyo Open Country R/T ensures exceptional on-road comfort levels. The optimal tread block placement helps to lower the road and tread pattern noise heard in the vehicle's cabin while the tires are in motion. During the on-road performance, the tire is able to optimize the sound levels, resulting in a quiet driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
