Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Toyo Open Country H/T II is a highway terrain, all season tire made for SUVs and light trucks. Toyo offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with the light truck sizes and a 70,000 mile warranty with the SUV sizes of this model. This warranty is for new tires.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The detailed tread design with the multi-wave sipes along the tire's footprint and the all season compound improve the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The compound elements enhance the grip on the road surface by optimizing the rubber flexibility, while the tread design boosts the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges. The adaptive circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, further enhancing the wet weather grip on the road surface.
The stronger compound and the ideal tread design improve the length of the tread life. The wear-resistant compound elements greatly lower the tread wear rate throughout the tire's lifetime. The tread design's surface contact enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the footprint. In this manner, the tire avoids irregular wear formation along the tread area. This combination avoids premature and uneven wear, extending the service life and the usability.
The Toyo Open Country H/T II's tread design improves the surface contact. The better contact with the road upgrades the steering responsiveness, the driving stability and the cornering capability. In this manner, the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands are enhanced, while the structural stability is maintained at all times. The detailed shoulder rib upgrades the cornering power with the use of additional biting edges, significantly optimizing the maneuvering ability. The tire also features a strengthened internal structure. The steel belt construction maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it is able to securely optimize the overall load capacity.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
