Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Toyo Open Country A/T II Xtreme is an extreme terrain, all season tire made for light trucks. Toyo offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with light trucks sizes and a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with P or Euro metric sizes of this model. This warrant is for new tires.
The model improves the extreme terrain traction by utilizing the staggered tread blocks and open shoulder detail, along with the sidewall pattern. This combination enhances the soft, loose and uneven terrain and on-road traction by boosting the grip on the road and terrain surface. The staggered elements, open shoulder pattern, detailed sidewalls enhance the traction on versatile terrain surface conditions, with the additional biting edges. This promotes the model's forward motion at all times, improving the deep mud and loose dirt traction. The tread also keeps the footprint clean at all times, by dispersing mud and snow and ejecting rocks from between the tread elements. This results in a safer driving experience.
The tread design's better surface contact boosts the controllability as well. The better on- and off-road traction upgrades the driver's control over the vehicle, optimizing the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. This ensures a quicker and more precise response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The stabilized tread elements help to generate friction between the tire and the road surface at the moment of braking. This promotes a safer braking power and shortens the braking distance. This combination ensures the driver's constant control over the vehicle at all times.
The stable tread elements help to improve the service life. The stabilized footprint and the prevention of tread flexing enable the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid irregular wear formations. The durable compound enhances the usability by minimizing the overall tread wear rate. As a result, the tire guarantees a longer lasting tread life.
The Toyo Open Country A/T II Xtreme promotes a comfortable on-road performance. The tie bars between the tread blocks secure the tread area. The tread flexing prevention enables the tire to channel the airwaves through the footprint, without allowing their contact with the tread elements. In this manner, the road and tread pattern noise are not heard in the vehicle's cabin while the tires are in motion. By lowering the sound wave-creation optimizes the comfort levels in the vehicle's cabin.
Extreme Terrain tire types are not designed for regular highway driving. They are primarily designed for off-road applications.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
