Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.

Toyo Open Country A/T II Tires

The Toyo Open Country A/T II is an all terrain, all season tire made for SUVs and light trucks. Toyo offers a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with the SUV sizes and a 50,000 mile warranty with the light trucks sizes of this model. The tire comes in P and LT metric tire sizes. This warranty is for new tires.

The tire boosts the all weather traction. The detailed tread design and the all season compound upgrade the dry, wet and winter grip on the road surface. The high-density siping placement firmly grips the road and terrain surface at all times, by utilizing additional biting edges. On the other hand, the rubber flexibility enhances the different temperature performance. The groove placement optimizes the on-road traction by avoiding hydroplaning, as they disperse water and slush from the footprint.

The aggressive tread design helps to enhance the all terrain traction as well. The on- and off-road terrain traction improves the soft, loose and uneven terrain gripping ability. This promotes exceptional traction, maintaining the tire's forward motion at all times, even when driving through deep mud and loose dirt. In this manner, the tire guarantees a secure off-road performance. Furthermore, the tread also keeps the footprint clean by eliminating mud, snow and rocks from the footprint. This improves the traction, while also avoiding stone retention from harming the casing.

The shoulder and center tread design maintains the surface contact at all times. These tread elements maintain the surface contact throughout the drive, which increases the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the structure is secured, while the steering is quicker and more precise. The tie bars located between the blocks improve braking power. These stabilized tread elements generate friction between the tire and the road surface, decreasing the braking power. This combination ensures the driver's better control over the vehicle throughout its performance.

The Toyo Open Country A/T II upgrades the length of the usability. The irregular tread wear is combated with the tie bars between the tread blocks. These tread elements stabilize the footprint and prevent tread flexing during the drive. As a result, the tire prevents unnecessary friction build-up along the tread area, which allows the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. This avoids irregular wear formations, extending the service and tread life.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
