Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.

Tornel A/T-09 Tires

The Tornel A/T-09 is an all terrain, all season tire made for light trucks.

The tire guarantees excellent all terrain traction. The aggressive tread design features staggered blocks and a high void ratio that enhances the soft, loose, and uneven terrain traction. They provide the necessary traction to conquer difficult terrains with ease, even when performing on soft dirt and through deep mud. The tread keeps the footprint clean as the optimized elements eliminate mud, snow, and rocks from the footprint. In this manner, mud and snow cannot block surface contact, while rocks are unable to cause stone retention. This combination significantly increases the on- and off-road terrain performing ability.

The all season compound and the ideal block pattern also help to upgrade the dry, wet, and winter traction. The aggressive footprint utilizes extra biting edges, while the compound maintains its rubber flexibility in order to enhance the year-round performance safety. During the tire's on-road drive, the void ratio and the grooves prevent hydroplaning as they disperse water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer wet weather performance.

The stronger traction and the heat-resistance of the all season compound enhance the fuel efficiency as well. They minimize the pressure that is placed on the tires during the drive, which reduces the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure regulating the vehicle's fuel consumption affecting the tires, which determines the vehicle's fuel economy. Decreasing the rolling resistance allows the tire to decrease the vehicle's fuel intake and CO2 emissions, resulting in a fuel-conscious driving experience.

The optimal tread design manages to upgrade the vehicle's controllability. The versatile terrain surface contact enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tire promotes a faster and more precise steering response, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. This greatly improves the driver's control over the vehicle, as the tires enhance the tire's handling during the performance.

The A/T-09 promotes excellent comfort levels during the on-road performance. The tread design's variable pitch sequence greatly lowers the road and tread pattern noise while the tires are in motion. The sound frequency negates the sound waves generated during the drive, lowering the road and the tread pattern noise heard by the passengers. In this manner, road disturbances do not reach the vehicle's cabin, resulting in a quiet performance.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.

To ensure that you are purchasing the correct tire size for your vehicle, please check the size of your currently mounted tires (locate on the tire's sidewall). The tire's sidewall also features the speed and load rating, indicating the speed and load capacity of the specific tire. The speed and load index can differ from the tires you currently have mounted on your vehicle up to a degree. Please check your vehicle's Owner's Manual or consult with your mechanic regarding the changes of your tire's speed rating and load index.
