The Continental SContact is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model features a narrow and flat footprint, which helps upgrade surface contact. As a result, the tire manages to increase its steering responsiveness and driving stability. However, careful driving is advised with spare tires.
The narrow footprint, with the zigzag grooves and optimal block placement, offers good traction in various weather conditions. These elements work together in order to upgrade dry, wet, and light winter traction. Zigzag grooves help to channel water and slush from the footprint, offering hydroplaning resistance. Yet, cautious driving in harsher conditions is still recommended.
The Continental SContact is a small-sized spare tire. These tires are manufactured in a smaller physical size compared to regular tires. This helps to minimize the space needed for their storage, making them ideal for vehicles with restricted trunk space. The small-sized spare tires are temporary spares, which offer limited mobility when the tires mounted on the vehicle fail. However, due to their reduced size, they have performance limitations.
