Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Samson GL268D is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is intended to be mounted on the drive axle of the vehicle.
The tire promotes excellent controllability throughout the performance. The tread pattern manages to closely follow the road surface at all times, improving the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the tire becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while securing the structure against the driving pressure. The strong internal structure also boosts durability as well. The reinforced structure prevents the tire from losing its optimal shape while under driving and load pressure, boosting the load capability. As a result, the tire is able to carry and withstand heavy loads for long periods of time without compromising performance throughout.
The combination of the symmetric ribbed tread block placement and the strong compound materials enable the tire to perform exceptionally well throughout the year. These tread features work together to increase the dry, wet, and winter weather traction and provide a safe driving experience at all times. The compound maintains the rubber flexibility in both high and low temperature conditions, optimizing the performance. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by channeling water and slush away from the footprint maintaining constant road contact.
The Samson GL268D also boasts improved fuel efficiency and longer-lasting tread life. The symmetric ribbed tread pattern closely follows the road surface at all times, preventing irregular and premature tread wear formations. These tread features ensure a longer tire's usability. The model is also able to reduce the rolling resistance throughout the performance. This helps with reducing the fuel intake and lowering CO2 emissions.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
