The asymmetric tread pattern has detailed siping to increase the number of biting edges that firmly grip the road surface. The optimal road contact patch further secures the grip while the four circumferential grooves eliminate water and slush from beneath the footprint. This allows the tire to effectively avoid hydroplaning, even in deeper water.
The Royal Black RoyalSport’s asymmetric tread features a continuous center rib and durable construction, both of which make it easy to control. The center rib closely follows the road surface to increase the steering responsiveness and the tire is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The optimal road contact and maintained ideal shape ensure the tire is able to perform at its best even at high speeds. Driving comfort is ensured thanks to the upgraded tread design. The improved road contact allows the tire to better absorb the shock of driving, reducing the road vibrations.
