The tire increases the winter weather traction. The Temperature Dynamix Compound and the detailed tread design's high-density siping placement enhance the ice and snow, winter weather grip. The durable compound elements keep the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. The tread elements provide additional biting edges in order to grip the road ice- and snow-covered road surface conditions. The tread design's groove placement avoids hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. This enables the tire to safely perform in winter weather conditions.
This model is a run flat tire. Pirelli's run flat technology reinforces the tire's structural strength in order to withstand the weight of the vehicle and its passengers in case of air pressure loss.
