Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Pirelli Cinturato P1 Run Flat is a performance and high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles. This model has some touring sizes as well.
The tire is a run flat model. That means its strengthened internal structure enables the tire's limited temporary performance in case of air pressure loss. In other words, the tire can be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph. In this manner, the vehicle is not stranded on the side of the road. Instead, it can be driven to a nearby location where the damaged tire can be fixed or changed. This allows the tire to promote a safer performance.
The model improves the summer weather performing capability. The hybrid compound and the asymmetric tread design greatly boost the wet and dry weather traction, optimizing the summer weather road grip. The hybrid compound is heat-resistant, which utilizes the stronger rubber materials to avoid heat build-up along the tread design. The tread design's surface contact optimizes the rubber-to-road ratio that enhances the overall traction. The three circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water from the footprint, increasing the surface contact, which increases the tire's summer weather driving experience.
The tire's stronger internal structure maintains the ideal tire shape. The twin steel belt structure does not allow the tire to deform under the high speed pressure. The heat-resistant compound eases the pressure off the tire, optimizing its performing capability. In this manner, the tire is able to securely perform at its greatest high speed ability. On the other hand, the optimal tread design's constant surface contact allows the tire to improve the controllability. The better road contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability, which ensures the driver's control over the vehicle.
The tread design and the construction also work together to increase the comfort levels. The optimal tread features a variable pitch design which helps to reduce the road and tread pattern noise heard in the vehicle's cabin. The variable pitch sequence actively negates the sound waves generated while the tires are in motion, preventing them from being heard by the passengers. The internal structure's polyester cord allows the tire to absorb the shock of driving by closely following the road surface at all times. As a result, the tire promotes a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
The Pirelli Cinturato P1 Run Flat lowers the overall rolling resistance. The reduced tire weight, the heat resistant performance and the close surface contact work together to ease the pressure off the tire. This results in the model's decreased rolling resistance. The rolling resistance optimizes the vehicle's fuel intake levels, which allows a lessened fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This promotes a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly performing ability.
This tire model was manufactured as the original equipment tire of select vehicles.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please note this is Original Equipment (O.E.) tire size only. The O.E. size is determined by the year, make, model and options of the vehicle. Original Equipment size data is the best information we currently have available to us. TireMart.com is not responsible for fitment errors. The most important aspect of purchasing a tire is its size, which cannot vary. It is buyer's responsibility to verify the tire size information. It is buyer's responsibility to verify whether a specific tire is suitable for a specific vehicle. However, this tire size may be fitted on other vehicles as well. To ensure that you are purchasing the correct tire size for your vehicle, please check the size of your currently mounted tires (locate on the tire's sidewall). The tire's sidewall also features the speed and load rating, indicating the speed and load capacity of the specific tire. The speed and load index can differ from the tires you currently have mounted on your vehicle up to a degree. Please check your vehicle's Owner's Manual or consult with your mechanic regarding the changes of your tire's speed rating and load index. If you have any questions regarding your tire size , speed rating and load index please contact us prior to purchasing and confirm with certified auto technician of any variance in speed and load index and sizes.
