Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Ohtsu ST5000 is a touring, all season tire made to be mounted on passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire improves its all weather traction with its excellent all season compound and symmetric tread design. The tread's full depth siping pattern improves the grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The special compound maintains the tire's flexibility in different temperatures. The four wide circumferential grooves work together to channel water and slush away from the tire's footprint. In this manner, the tire guarantees a secure year round performance.
The tread design's constant road contact enhances the tire's controllability. The solid center rib closely follows the tire's footprint throughout the model's performance, which significantly boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The shoulder tread block pattern upgrades the cornering ability and power with extra biting edges. In this manner, the tire enables the driver to confidently control the vehicle in various conditions.
The model ensures high comfort levels. The tread's three-two pitch variation cancels out the road and tread pattern noise generated during the drive. Before the soundwaves can reach the vehicle's cabin, the pitch sequence's noise-cancelling sound frequency negates them. The internal structure's jointless nylon cap ply maintains the ideal tire shape and allows the tire to absorb the shock of driving. This decreases the road vibrations felt by the passengers while the tires are in motion, ensuing an enjoyable driving experience.
The Ohtsu ST5000 manages to extend its tread life. The constant road contact secures and stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure affecting it, which enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally distributed forces of acceleration, cornering and braking effectively avoids the formation of uneven tread wear along the tread area, extending the tread life and usability significantly.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
