New Pride Tires is a tire manufacturing brand that started as a tire retreading business in 1964. Its first name was Pacific Coast Retreaders and it had many municipalities, tire dealers, and military entities to serve. The company slowly turned its attention to the intermodal transportation industry in 1980. They utilized pre-cure and mold-cure systems to process 14-ply Japanese casings. Fast forward to 1998 when the brand has introduced its own specialized bias-ply tire. Since it turned out to be a great success, they also introduced their new steel radial tire in 2003. This is when their rapid growth started, which enabled them to add more and more tires and technologies to their repertoire.
