Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Michelin X-Ice Snow is a touring, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire ensures its exceptional winter weather traction. The directional tread design, with the interlocking 3D sipes, and the Flex-Ice 2.0 and EverWinterGrip compound blend increase the ice and snow grip. The sipe pattern firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges, while the compound blend keeps the rubber flexible in freezing temperatures. The V-shaped grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, effectively avoiding hydroplaning in wet conditions. This combination makes the tire perfect for winter applications.
Better comfort levels are ensured with this model. The directional pattern's details and the close road contact help to reduce road noise and vibrations. Close road contact absorbs the shock of driving, minimizing the road vibrations reaching the vehicle's cabin. On the other hand, the tread design channels airwaves through the footprint, preventing sound waves from being generated. This prevents them from ruining the passengers' driving enjoyment, guaranteeing a quiet and comfortable performance.
Stronger winter traction and consistent road contact work together to ease the driving pressure off the tire. In this manner, the tire lowers the rolling resistance, which is the pressure affecting the vehicle's necessary fuel intake levels. Decreasing the rolling resistance allows the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This provides a fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The tread design, with the interlocking 3D sipe pattern, and the durable winter compound mix increase the tread life. They enable the tire to prevent premature and irregular wear. Durable rubber materials decrease the wear rate by being wear-resistant. The tread's even pressure circulation and stable footprint ensure even wear, significantly improving the overall service life. The slow and even wear significantly increases the usability.
The Michelin X-Ice Snow uses the directional tread design to maintain surface contact. As a result, the tire improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. A faster and more precise steering response helps to ensure the driver's control over the vehicle. It also secures structural stability against the driving pressure. Better handling and maneuvering enable the vehicle's secure performance.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
