Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.

Michelin Primacy XC Tires

The Michelin Primacy XC is a highway terrain all season tire made for sport utility vehicles and light trucks. Michelin offers a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with its SUV models.

The rolling resistance is lowered due to the ribbed tread block design. The rolling resistance determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire's motion and the lower it is the less fuel the vehicle will consume. The tire is fuel efficient and environmentally friendly due to the reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The tread wear rate is also slowed down due to the reduced rolling resistance. It evenly distributes the driving pressure along the symmetric tread design. The tread life and the tire's usability are extended thanks to the equally spread forces of acceleration, cornering and braking.

The model also ensures a comfortable drive. The special Comfort Control technology decreases the road vibrations and noise in the vehicle's cabin. The tire's close road contact reduces driving shock. The ribbed tread design channels the airwaves through the tire's footprint preventing them from coming into contact with the tread elements. These factors cancel out the road noise and vibrations while the tires are in motion, which ensures a more comfortable and quiet drive.

The tire ensures smooth handling. Constant road contact of the ribbed tread design improves the driving stability and the steering responsiveness. The tire is strong enough to remain stable when it is affected with driving pressure, and the steering response to the driver's commands increases in speed and precision. The number of biting edges that grip the road surface is increased by the shoulder tread block sequence, thereby enhancing the cornering ability. The upgraded controllability ensures a safer performance as well.

The Primacy XC boasts excellent traction in all weather. The firm grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather is enhanced by the all season tire compound and the detailed siping design. The compound keeps its flexibility even in colder temperatures which enhances the safety in all weather driving. The hydroplaning resistance and boosted wet weather traction is due to the tread design's circumferential and lateral grooves. This is achieved as they disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The combination of improved traction and hydroplaning resistance guarantees a high level of performance and safety.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.

To ensure that you are purchasing the correct tire size for your vehicle, please check the size of your currently mounted tires (locate on the tire's sidewall). The tire's sidewall also features the speed and load rating, indicating the speed and load capacity of the specific tire. The speed and load index can differ from the tires you currently have mounted on your vehicle up to a degree. Please check your vehicle's Owner's Manual or consult with your mechanic regarding the changes of your tire's speed rating and load index. If you have any questions regarding your tire size , speed rating and load index please contact us prior to purchasing and confirm with certified auto technician of any variance in speed and load index and sizes.
