Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Michelin Premier LTX is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Michelin offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with new tires.
The tire upgrades the all weather performance. The model greatly upgrades the all season traction by utilizing a sunflower oil infused silica compound and the ideal tread design with the siping placement. This combination guarantees the tire's dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The strengthened silica compound enables the tire to optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, while the tread design upgrades the grip on the road surface during its performance. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint. As a result, the tire promotes a secure year round performing capability.
The tire also ensures a fuel efficient performance. The sunflower oil and silica compound ease the pressure off the tire and minimize the rolling resistance by enhancing the traction. The rolling resistance is the pressure which determines the vehicle's fuel consumption in order to maintain motion. Minimizing the rolling resistance lowers the vehicle's fuel intake and CO2 emissions, resulting in a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The Michelin Premier LTX also improves the controllability. The reinforced sidewall structure and the ideal surface contact work together to upgrade the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's instructions, while the structural stability is maintained throughout the tire's performance. The model's special EverGrip Technology and the durable compound manage to increase the braking power. This combination allows the tire to increase the braking power by generating friction between the tire and the road surface, greatly shortening the braking distance. This ensures the tire's secure performance.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
