For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. The directional tread pattern with the detailed siping placement and the winter compound work together to greatly update the tire's winter weather performing capability. The high-density siping placement along the tread area firmly grips the ice- and snow-covered road surfaces, while the compound optimizes the rubber flexibility in freezing and cold weather conditions. The Snow Groove II packs snow into the grooves in order to boost the snow-on-snow contact and upgrade the ice traction. The groove placement allows the tire to avoid hydroplaning. They channel water and slush from the footprint to keep the road contact during the drive. The tread is pinned for studs, which can be added for additional ice and snow traction.
The tread design also boosts the controllability significantly. The constant surface contact of the continuous center rib enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the model is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it.
