Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Kumho Crugen HP71 is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some high performance sizes as well.
The tire increases the all weather performance. The symmetric tread design's full depth siping detail and the all season compound enhance the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. The siping placement along the footprint helps to firmly grip the road with extra biting edges, while the compound manages to keep the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. The circumferential grooves and the siped tread blocks work together to prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from the footprint, resisting hydroplaning throughout the performance.
The optimal tread design maintains the surface contact during the drive. The solid center rib and the shoulder block pattern manage to keep the road contact, in order to boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. This allows the tire to improve the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder block placement also enables the tire to optimize the cornering ability and power. These elements firmly grip the road surface with additional biting edges, optimizing the maneuvering capability. This combination promotes a safer driving experience as it ensures the driver's control over the vehicle.
The tire also enhances the lengthened usability. The tread design's stabilized elements help prevent tread flexing while the tires are in motion. Tread flexing generates friction between the tire and the road surface, placing unnecessary pressure on the footprint. By avoiding it, the tire is able to equally spread out the driving pressure along the tread area, allowing the tire to prevent irregular and premature wear formations. In other words, it promotes a longer usability by ensuring a slower and even wear.
The Kumho Crugen HP71 increases the comfort levels while the tires are in motion. The tread design features a variable pitch placement which helps lower the road and tread pattern noise heard while the tires are in motion. The variable pitch sequence generates a sound-canceling frequency that negates the sound waves created during the drive before they can reach the vehicle's cabin. The tread design also helps to maintain a close road contact, which absorbs the shock of driving. While the tires are in motion, the footprint prevents road vibrations from being felt by the passengers, resulting in a comfortable drive. This combination allows the tire to promote a quiet and enjoyable driving experience.
This tire model was manufactured as the original equipment tire of select Volkswagen vehicles.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
