The Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar EMT is a high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles. This run flat model offers a limited temporary performance after air pressure loss. In case of a puncture or other damage, the tire can still be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph, enabling the driver to safely arrive at a nearby location. Run flat tires cannot be used together on the same vehicle with regular tires.
The tire offers a safer summer traction. The AAtrax compound and the asymmetric tread pattern work together to increase the dry and wet weather road gripping ability. The compound actively prevents heat build-up along the tread area, while the tread elements increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface. The wide circumferential grooves enable the tire to prevent hydroplaning. This combination ensures a secure summer weather performance.
The Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar EMT features a multi-radius tread that enhances the tire’s surface contact. This enables the tire to boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. As a result, the tire is faster and more precise in its steering response, while the structure is secured against the high speed driving pressure. The Aramid reinforced twin steel belt structure maintains the ideal tire shape, even during the model’s high speed drive, which ensures a secure performing ability. The larger shoulder tread block placement increases the cornering and maneuvering ability and power, with the additional biting edges gripping the road surface.
