The General ST250 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles, made to be mounted on the trailer axle. This model is not meant to be mounted on light trucks. The tire promotes exceptional all season performance thanks to the ideal tread design and strong compound.
This model promotes fuel-efficient and eco-friendly performance, as the optimized tread design is able to closely follow the road surface and lower the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance regulates how much energy is needed to keep the tire in motion. As the rolling resistance is lowered, the fuel intake and CO2 emissions are reduced as well.
The General ST250 utilizes its flat and symmetric tread design to maintain constant contact with the surface and improve the tire’s service life. The ideal tread balances out the driving pressure across the tread area, preventing irregular and premature wear formations from shortening the tread life. The tread design is also able to eject stones stuck between the tread blocks, preventing them from drilling into the tread and harming the casing. These strong materials also boost the load and driving durability by preventing the tire from losing its optimal shape while under heavy load and pressure. This allows the tire to improve its load capacity.
