Factory Take Off - Tire was briefly mounted on a vehicle, then removed by a dealer.
Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
This means that the tire was once mounted on a vehicle before taken off by a dealer at a dealership. These tires have not been driven on. They have 100% of tread life remaining.
100% TREAD LIFE LEFT NEW DEALER TAKE-OFF TIRES
Features and Benefits:
The General Grabber HTS is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.
These specific tires are Dealer Take Off Tires. This means that the tire was once mounted on a vehicle before taken off by a dealer at a dealership. These tires have not been driven on. They have 100% of tread life remaining.
The model increases the all weather performing capability. The special tread design features Response Grooves, StabiliLink Bars and three different siping designs to boost the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The compound also increases the grip on the road surface by optimizing the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. The tread elements and the stabilized footprint boost the grip with extra biting edges, ensuring the tire's forward motion. The tread's hydro channels disperse water and slush from below the footprint, which actively resists hydroplaning.
The tread design and the durable construction increase the controllability. The internal structure's steel belts, the micro-fiber reinforcement and the board tire contour maintain the ideal tire shape under the driving pressure, which upgrades the overall driving stability. They also work together with the tread design to maintain the road surface. The stabilized footprint enables the tire to increase the steering responsiveness and accuracy. As a result, the tire ensures the safer performing capability by upgrading the driver's constant control over the vehicle.
The special Eco-Ride compound improves the fuel efficiency. This compound lowers the rolling resistance by easing the pressure off the tire. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the vehicle's needed fuel intake levels. In other words, reducing the rolling resistance enables the tire to minimize the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels, resulting in a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The General Grabber HTS also enhances the comfort levels. The noise-capturing pockets along the tread area help to negate the road noise levels, while the internal cushioning system reduces the road vibrations. The tread's noise-capturing pockets cancel out the soundwaves during the drive, which minimizes the road and tread pattern noise heard in the vehicle's cabin. The internal structure, on the other hand, enables the tire to absorb the shock of driving. This significantly lowers the rod vibrations felt by the passengers. This results in a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please note this is Original Equipment (O.E.) tire size only. The O.E. size is determined by the year, make, model and options of the vehicle. Original Equipment size data is the best information we currently have available to us. TireMart.com is not responsible for fitment errors. To ensure that you are purchasing the correct tire size for your vehicle, please check the size of your currently mounted tires (locate on the tire's sidewall). The tire's sidewall also features the speed and load rating, indicating the speed and load capacity of the specific tire. The speed and load index can differ from the tires you currently have mounted on your vehicle up to a degree. Please check your vehicle's Owner's Manual or consult with your mechanic regarding the changes of your tire's speed rating and load index. If you have any questions regarding your tire size , speed rating and load index please contact us prior to purchasing and confirm with certified auto technician of any variance in speed and load index and sizes.
