Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The General Ameritrac TR is an all terrain, all season tire made for SUVs and light trucks.
The tire enhances the all terrain performance. The tread design's angled tread block placement and the high void ratio increase the soft, loose and uneven terrain gripping capability. The tread elements upgrade the grip the tire has on versatile terrain surface conditions. This allows the model to ensure its forward motion through deep mud and on loose terrains, without the tire getting stuck. The tread keeps the footprint clean throughout the drive. It enables the model to eliminate mud and snow from between the tread elements, while also avoiding stone retention from harming the casing. This combination increases the tire's on- and off-road terrain gripping capability.
The all season traction is guaranteed with the tread elements and the all season compound. The compound and the optimized tread elements work together to boost the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road and terrain surface. The tread elements upgrade the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, while the compound optimizes the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. The groove pattern also allows the tire to avoid hydroplaning. These elements channel water and slush from the footprint, to avoid hydroplaning during the tire's on-road performance.
The stronger structure and the optimal surface contact throughout the drive boosts the controllability. The steel belt construction and the tread elements improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the steering is faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. The strengthened internal construction maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure, which allows the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. The durable compound, on the other hand, strengthens the damage resistance during the model's off-road performance.
The General Ameritrac TR promotes a comfortable drive during the tire's on-road performance. The computer-generated tread pattern helps to lower the road and tread pattern noise heard in the vehicle's cabin. The tread channels the airwaves through the footprint, without allowing their contact with the tread elements. This results in a quiet drive as the soundwaves do not reach the vehicle's cabin.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
