Additionally, it also helps resist turf damage. Soft traction eases the pressure off the driving surface, preventing the footprint from damaging the grass field. This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming.
