The Falken Ziex S/TZ05 is a touring, all season tire made for SUVs. Falken offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with new tires of this model.

Falken offers a road hazard warranty with this tire. Road hazard damage is harm caused to the tire during its performance. It can occur in the form of punctures, bruises, or impact breaks when the tire is driven in normal driving conditions on a federal, state, and/or locally maintained road. Falken's road hazard covers the first 3/32nds of the tire's tread life or 2 years from the date of purchase (whichever comes first). The road hazard warranty is honored if the damage is unrepairable per the USTMA puncture repair guidelines. Additional restrictions and fees may apply.

Falken also offers a Thirty (30) Day Ride Guarantee or 1,000 miles to try this model out. In case you are not satisfied with your purchase, Falken provides this warranty for 30 days or 1,000 miles, whichever comes first. The returned tires must not show damage due to road hazards, incorrect operation or maintenance, or damage caused by external conditions. This offer is for tires operated in normal highway conditions within the U.S. or Canada and it excludes tires used in commercial service or racing applications. The tires must be returned to the original place of purchase, with the sales invoice and the proper documentation.

The tire features a special five-rib pattern which helps to lengthen the tread life. This symmetric ribbed tread design enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area while the tires are in motion. The equally spread out forces actively resist irregular and premature wear formations, which significantly extends the usability and the overall service life.

The all season compound and the detailed tread elements also work together to boost the all weather traction. They ensure the tire's grip in dry, wet and winter weather conditions by utilizing the optimal rubber flexibility and the tread's additional biting edges. The model's circumferential and lateral groove pattern avoids hydroplaning. These grooves enhance the water and slush dispersing capability, resulting in a stronger wet weather surface grip.
