Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Deestone D268 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for small and medium trailers. This model was made to be mounted on SPECIAL TRAILERS ONLY and it should not be used on light trucks.
The tire increases the all weather traction. The flat footprint with the ideal tread design and the all season compound improve the dry, wet, and winter grip. The tread elements firmly grip the road surface with the extra biting edges in versatile weather conditions, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The compound keeps the rubber flexible in different temperatures, optimizing the summer and winter traction. The tread's narrow zigzag grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint. This results in a safer wet weather performance.
The model utilizes its tread design to upgrade its controllability. The flat footprint and the optimal tread elements increase the surface contact which improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. This allows the tire to be quicker and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle's constructions, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. The shoulder pattern allows the tire to improve its cornering ability by using additional biting edges. This combination ensures the towing vehicle's control over the trailer, guaranteeing a secure towing experience.
The Deestone D268 also boosts the load and driving durability. The stronger load and driving durability are ensured with the nylon casing. The reinforced nylon casing maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform under the load and driving pressure, it is able to securely carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, boosting the overall load capacity while the tires are in motion.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
