The Dayton D520S is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. It was made for the vehicle's steer axle.
The tire offers great all season traction. The all season compound and the tread design with the siping pattern and wide circumferential grooves enhance the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. Stronger compound elements allow the tire to optimize the rubber flexibility throughout the year. The ideal tread elements help to upgrade the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges. Hydroplaning is avoided with the groove placement, dispersing water and slush from the footprint. This results in a safer driving experience.
Handling and controllability are promoted with the tread design. The symmetric ribbed tread design maintains the surface contact at all times, upgrading the steering responsiveness and driving stability. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
