Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Cooper Discoverer Rugged Trek is a rugged terrain, all season tire made for SUVs and light trucks. Cooper offers a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with light truck sizes and a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with SUV sizes of this model.
The tire improves the rugged terrain performance. The aggressive tread design with the earth digger shoulders and the Stable Trac Technology enhance the traction on versatile on- and off-road terrain surface conditions. These tread elements improve the soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip by providing the necessary surface contact and a higher number of biting edges. The tread's staggered blocks and high void ratio keep the footprint clean. They disperse water and slush from the footprint, preventing them from blocking the surface contact. Furthermore, the self-cleaning ability and the special stone blockades eject rocks stuck in the footprint, effectively preventing stone retention from harming the casing during the performance. This combination enhances the tire's on- and off-road driving safety levels.
The detailed tread design and the all season compound improve the year-round usability. The staggered block pattern with the zigzag siping pattern enhances the grip the tire has in dry, wet, and winter conditions. The siping pattern and the staggered block edges enhance the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, allowing the tire's traction throughout the year. On the other hand, the stronger compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, from the heat of summer to colder winter weather situations. The tread's wide groove pattern disperses water and slush from the footprint, in order to avoid hydroplaning during the tire's on-road performance. This results in safer wet weather traction.
The stabilized tread elements and the optimal block placement across the tread area improve the surface contact while the tires are in motion. As a result, the tire is able to greatly upgrade the on- and off-road terrain steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the footprint's better and constant surface contact manages to improve the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's instructions, while it effectively secures the structural stability throughout the performance. The siping placement and the optimal shoulder blocks enhance the cornering and braking ability, optimizing the tire's overall maneuvering durability.
The model helps to elongate its tread life. The stabilized tread elements and the stronger compound improve the usability. The footprint's stability prevents tread flexing from generating excessive pressure along the tread area. This allows the tire to evenly circulate the driving pressure across the footprint, avoiding irregular wear formations. The stronger compound
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please note this is Original Equipment (O.E.) tire size only. The O.E. size is determined by the year, make, model and options of the vehicle. Original Equipment size data is the best information we currently have available to us. TireMart.com is not responsible for fitment errors. The most important aspect of purchasing a tire is its size, which cannot vary. It is buyer's responsibility to verify the tire size information. It is buyer's responsibility to verify whether a specific tire is suitable for a specific vehicle. However, this tire size may be fitted on other vehicles as well. To ensure that you are purchasing the correct tire size for your vehicle, please check the size of your currently mounted tires (locate on the tire's sidewall). The tire's sidewall also features the speed and load rating, indicating the speed and load capacity of the specific tire. The speed and load index can differ from the tires you currently have mounted on your vehicle up to a degree. Please check your vehicle's Owner's Manual or consult with your mechanic regarding the changes of your tire's speed rating and load index. If you have any questions regarding your tire size , speed rating and load index please contact us prior to purchasing and confirm with certified auto technician of any variance in speed and load index and sizes.
