Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.

Continental TrueContact Tour Tires

The Continental TrueContact Tour is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Continental offers an 80,000 mile treadwear warranty with the H and T speed rated sizes, and a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with the V speed rated tire sizes. This warranty is for new tires.

The tire increases the overall comfort levels with the Comfort Ride Technology. This technology optimizes the footprint and the structure to reduce the road noise and vibration levels while the tires are in motion. The optimal tread design prevents the formations channel the airwaves through the footprint, without allowing their contact with the tread elements. This prevents road noise levels from being heard in the vehicle's cabin. The strengthened internal structure enables the tire to absorb the shock of driving, minimizing the road vibrations felt by the passengers during its performance. This combination ensures a quiet and comfortable driving experience.

The maintained road contact of the optimal tread design improves the controllability. The constant surface contact allows the tire to upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. This enables the tire to be quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's instructions and it secured the structural stability against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder pattern allows the tire to boost the cornering ability and power. It enables the tire to increase the cornering power by firmly gripping the road surface.

The tire guarantees excellent all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance. Furthermore, the tread design features a Tuned Performance Indicators. These indicators visually represent the tire's weather traction and the weather conditions it can perform in. In other words, the tread design allows the driver to follow the tire's treadwear rate, ensuring that the tires are not used in the corresponding weather conditions. This allows the driver to recognize when the tires need to be changed.

The Continental TrueContact Tour uses the EcoContact technology to reduce the tread wear rate. The EcoContact Technology eases the pressure off the tire and minimizes the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure that determines the vehicle's needed fuel consumption levels in order to keep the tires in motion. Lowering the rolling resistance enables the tire to decrease the vehicle's fuel intake and CO2 emissions, resulting in a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
