Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Continental CrossContact RX is a touring, all season tire made for SUVs and passenger vehicles. It has some high performance sizes as well. Continental offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
This model guarantees a quiet and comfortable performance, thanks to specially designed tread and ContiSilent technology. Its inner layer of the tire is coated with a special foam, which is able to absorb the road and tread noise and prevent them from reaching the vehicle's cabin. This greatly lowers the road disturbances while tires are in motion, enabling the passengers to enjoy a noise-free driving experience.
The tire also provides a longer lasting tread life with its durable compound materials. These tread elements slow down the treadwear rate and avoid premature wear formations. On the other hand, the tread balances out load and driving pressure across the tread area to avoid irregular wear, boosting its overall tread life. This model also offers a phenomenal usability as it resists damage, such as stone retention and punctures. It prevents the tire from going flat by sealing 80% of punctures thanks to its ContiSeal technology.
The Continental CrossContact RX is able to perform at high speeds in all weather conditions. The special groove pattern and ideal sipe placement provide a high number of biting edges, boosting the overall controllability and driving stability. This enables the driver to maneuver the vehicle with confidence at higher speeds, while compound prevents heat build-up and keeps the tire in its optimal shape. It is able to perform consistently well on dry, wet, and snowy roads, as circumferential and lateral grooves eject water and slush from the footprint. This actively resists the risk of hydroplaning and maximizes the overall surface contact.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
