The Carlisle Ultra CRT is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This model is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS. The lighter construction and specially designed tread lower the fuel consumption. This guarantees a cost efficient and eco-friendly drive as the rolling resistance is decreased.
This model utilizes its steel belted structure to keep the tire in its optimal shape while under load and driving pressure. The strong structural materials support the tire throughout the performance, allowing it to carry and withstand larger loads with ease. As the tire does not deform under larger loads, it is able to safely perform in heavy-duty conditions.
The Carlisle Ultra CRT performs well throughout the year, thanks to its durable compound materials and specially designed tread. These tread ribs provide a high number of biting edges to the driving surface, enhancing the traction in dry, wet, and winter weather conditions. The compound keeps the rubber flexible in both summer and winter weather conditions, while circumferential grooves channel water and slush from the footprint. This prevents the vehicle from hydroplaning in rainy and snowy weather conditions.
