The Carlisle Sport Trail LH is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This model was made to be mounted only on SPECIAL TRAILERS and it should not be used on light trucks.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The all season compound and the ribbed tread design increase the dry, wet, and winter grip, optimizing the forward motion throughout the performance. The compound keeps the rubber flexible in various temperatures, optimizing the summer and winter traction. The tread design with the siping placement firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges, increasing the forward motion. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint.
The ribbed tread design and the better traction ease the pressure off the tire, lowering the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the towing vehicle's needed fuel intake in order to maintain the motion.
