Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Carlisle Ground Force 400 is an all season tire manufactured for industrial vehicles. This model is ideal for general duty skid steer applications.
The adaptive rubber compound improves the tire's load-carrying capacity. It enables the vehicle to handle and withstand heavy loads without having to worry about the tires suffering any damage. The angled lugs are elevated towards the shoulders, which ensures that the load and driving pressure are always evenly distributed across the tread. This way, it can carry huge loads with maximum driving safety. These features guarantee that the tire performs well in off-road and light-duty conditions.
Due to the tough rubber compound, this model provides excellent damage-resistant capabilities. The lugs are arranged with a low void ratio, in order to maximize the number of biting edges available on the tread. Combined with the deep tread, the tire prevents stone retention as well. It eliminates rocks from the footprint, preventing them from drilling into the casing. The whole tire structure is tough enough to resist chipping, tearing, cracking, and punctures throughout the drive.
The Carlisle Ground Force 400 improves traction on mixed terrain conditions. Its tread is optimized to dominate soft, loose, and uneven terrains with ease. The model utilizes a low lug-to-void ratio to have more biting edges to grip the road surface. This ensures constant traction even in deep mud and loose dirt. The tread covers a large contact patch that boosts the tire's driving stability and steering responsiveness, and prevents side-slipping.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Due to the acquisition by Carlstar Tires, Carlisle tires are now manufactured under the Carlstar banner. For this reason, some Carlisle tires might come with the Carlstar brand name stamped on their sidewalls.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
