The Bridgestone RE71 Denloc is a high performance summer tire made for the Porsche 959 vehicle models. This tire offers excellent summer weather traction and high speed controllability with the tread design and the summer compound. The tread design’s surface contact boosts the tire’s handling and summer grip, while the compound avoids heat build-up to enable a secure high speed performing ability.
The tire was the first run flat tire invented. Its reinforced construction maintains the ideal tire shape even after air pressure loss. Once air pressure leaves the tire, it can still be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph. This limited, temporary performance promotes a safer driving experience, as it prevents the vehicle from being stranded on the side of the road.
The Bridgestone RE71 Denloc is the replacement tire of the Dunlop Denloc made for Porsche 959 vehicles. It was designed to be fitted onto Denloc and RUF wheels and it cannot be mounted on standard wheels. These tires were developed as the street tire of these vehicles, which feature a special wheel design to monitor the tires’ PSI. Such tires promotes excellent performance, high speed durability, great controllability and superb summer traction to ensure the Porsche 959’s utmost driving security throughout its performance.
