The Bridgestone Potenza RE050A II RFT is a performance and high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles. This model was made for select BMW sport package vehicles. The tire promotes excellent summer weather traction, with the summer compound and the tread design. Hydroplaning resistance is avoided by dispersing water from the footprint.
This model is a run flat tire. The model features a strengthened internal structure in order to maintain the ideal tire shape after air pressure leaves the tire. When air pressure loss occurs due to a puncture or similar damage, the tire can still be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph. This tire makes sure that the vehicles are not stranded on the side of the road, promoting a safer drive.
The Bridgestone Potenza RE050A II RFT improves the controllability too.
