The Bridgestone Alenza Sport A/S RFT is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. The tread design and the all season compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility while the tread elements boost the number of biting edges gripping the road surface in various conditions. The grooves avoid hydroplaning.
The tire is a run flat model. It is able to be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph in case of air pressure loss. After a puncture or other damage causes air pressure to leave the tire, it still offers a limited temporary performance thanks to the reinforced internal structure. This enables the vehicle to safely arrive at a nearby location, where the damaged tire can be fixed or replaced. Run flat tires cannot be mixed with regular tires on the same vehicle.
