The Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport RFT is a performance and high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
Summer traction is promoted with this model. The tire utilizes its summer compound and detailed tread pattern, which significantly improve the dry and wet weather grip on the road surface. These tread elements provide extra biting edges, resulting in a secure driving experience. Stronger compound elements optimize the tire's exceptional heat resistance. Circumferential grooves boost the hydroplaning resistance, resulting in a safer wet weather application.
This is a run flat model. It features a reinforced internal structure, which does not allow the tire to deform after air pressure loss. Once air pressure loss leaves the tire, it can still be driven on for 50 miles, up to the speed of 50 mph. This enables the vehicle to safely arrive at a nearby location, where the damaged tire can be fixed or changed. Run flat tires should not be mounted on the same vehicle with regular tires, due to their heavier structure.
Maintaining the surface contact helps to enhance the controllability as well. The flat footprint helps to upgrade the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability.
