The DRV-895 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for the drive axle of commercial vehicles. The stabilized tire footprint manages to upgrade the length of the tread life. The optimized tread elements resist tread flexing which causes additional pressure accumulation along the tread area, which helps to prevent premature and irregular wear formations.
The tread design and the all season compound increase the all weather traction. The compound keeps the flexibility with the stronger rubber elements throughout the year. The tread blocks, and their optimal siping placement, upgrade the model’s grip on dry, wet and winter surface conditions. The zigzag circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the footprint.
The DRV-895 enhances the controllability. The optimized tire footprint with the ideal shoulder block placement upgrades the surface contact while the tires are in motion. This allows the tire to improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability significantly, ensuring that the tires efficiently follow the steering axle’s instructions.
