The silica-based compound is molded into an innovative tread design to improve the high speed controllability and cornering ability. This allows the tire to keep constant road contact and enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The shoulder tread blocks enhance the cornering ability by increasing the number of biting edges gripping the road surface.
The BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 was designed with the ETEC System, which optimizes the tread design, tire compound, and the model’s construction to ensure its utmost high speed controllability and maneuvering capability. As a result, the tire can easily and safety perform at high speed speeds. This system’s flat footprint optimizes the tire’s pressure distribution.
