Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.

Armstrong Tru-Trac SU Tires

The Armstrong Tru-Trac SU is a performance and high performance, all season tire made for SUVs.

Armstrong offers one of the best warranties in the tire industry. The brand promotes a limited 6-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. They also provide a road hazard warranty and 24/7 roadside assistance for the first 2 years after the purchase is made. Furthermore, this model comes with a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty.

All season traction is promoted with this model. The tire utilizes the all season compound and the detailed asymmetric tread design to enhance the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. They work together to optimize the surface traction, while also keeping the tire pliable in versatile temperatures. Circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, effectively avoiding hydroplaning in wet conditions.

Better controllability is offered, as the tread elements optimize the road contact. The asymmetric footprint and the stronger internal structure ensure exceptional surface contact, which increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability. Additionally, these improvements also ensure the tire's exceptional high speed performance. The tire's cornering capability is also improved. The optimized shoulder blocks increase the cornering power, as they use extra biting edges.

The tread design and the special shoulder bottom base stabilize the footprint. As a result, the tire is able to evenly circulate the driving pressure across the tread area. The model does not allow pressure accumulation, which effectively resists irregular and premature wear. This combination significantly improves the tire's overall service and tread life.

The better traction and the tread design's inner siping detail ease the pressure off the tire. In this manner, the tire does not allow the tire to ease the driving pressure across the tread area. This significantly decreases the rolling resistance, which is the pressure determining the vehicle's energy intake needed. Lowering the rolling resistance minimizes the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This guarantees a fuel-conscious driving experience.

The Armstrong Tru-Trac SU prevents road disturbances from reaching the vehicle's cabin. This is achieved with the reinforced sidewall construction. This structure makes sure the tire absorbs the shock of driving, decreasing the road vibrations felt by the passengers. As road disturbances do not reach the vehicle's cabin, the passengers' driving enjoyment is promoted.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
