The special compound blend resists tread damage, while the footprint avoids tread flexing and with it irregular wear. This combination optimizes the tire's tread wear rate and manner.

The tire was designed with the Increased Flexion (IF) and Very High Flexion (VF) technologies. These technologies improve the tire's load durability as they allow the tire to carry 20-40% more load at the same inflation levels as regular tires or the same load at 20-40% lower inflation levels. This optimizes the tire's footprint to decrease soil compaction during the model's performance, which resists damage to the crop.

The Alliance (Yokohama) Agriflex 354 improves its field terrain traction thanks to the optimal tread elements.
