Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. The Achilles Desert Hawk A/P 2 is a highway terrain, all season tire made to be mounted on light trucks.
The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The asymmetric tread design features a detailed siping and groove pattern which enhances the tire's grip throughout the year. The special all season compound maintains the tire's rubber flexibility in dry, wet and winter weather, while also avoiding weather damage. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint to actively increase the wet and winter weather performing capability.
The model ensures a longer tread life. The ideal symmetric pattern, with the interconnecting shoulder block design, maintains the tire's road contact at all times. The better contact with the road surface guarantees a balanced driving pressure distribution throughout the tire's performance. This allows the tire to evenly spread out the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking along the tread area, effectively preventing irregular tread wear formations along the tread area.
