The Accelera Iota is a touring, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. It has great summer weather traction with the dual zone tread design. The outer tread area improves the dry weather road gripping ability by providing additional biting edges. The other side of the tread prevents hydroplaning and increases the wet and winter weather traction by channeling water away from the tire footprint. This improves the summer weather driving safety.
The special tire compound used in the manufacture of the model reduces its overall weight. The lower tire weight takes the driving pressure off of the tire and allows a lowered rolling resistance which determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain motion. The decreased rolling resistance lowers the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This makes the tire very fuel and cost efficient and environmentally friendly.
The Accelera Iota upgrades its controllability. Its tread design features a solid center rib, which maintains constant road contact. The better road contact ratio enhances the steering responsiveness, driving stability and the tire’s comfort levels. The constant road contact allows the tire to be easily maneuvered as it gives full control over the vehicle to the driver. As the tire closely follows the road surface, it also reduces the road vibrations felt in the cabin of the vehicle while the tires are in motion.
