Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Accelera Omikron A/T is an all terrain, all season tire made for SUVs and light trucks. Accelera offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.
All season traction is promoted with the tread design and durable compound. These elements upgrade the dry, wet, and winter weather conditions. The stronger compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, upgrading the summer and winter weather traction. The sipe pattern and the block placement enhance the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges. The circumferential grooves and notched shoulders allow the tire to prevent hydroplaning during its on-road performance, further upgrading the wet weather traction.
The tread design’s surface contact improves the controllability. This allows the tire’s surface contact at all times, boosting the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the tire promotes better steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder block pattern also enhances the cornering ability with the use of additional biting edges. The better handling and maneuvering capability.
The aggressive tread design also upgrades the all terrain traction. The staggered block placement, high void ratio, and open shoulder detail enhance the soft, loose and uneven terrain traction. The tread design allows the tire to greatly boost the forward motion on different terrains. The tread elements boost the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges, optimizing the deep mud and loose dirt traction. The tread also keeps the footprint clean by dispersing mud and snow. These tread elements help to combat stone retention as well.
The Accelera Omikron A/T also improves the overall comfort levels. During the tire’s on-road performance the tread design manages to decrease the road vibrations felt by the passengers. The interlocking center rib and the intermediate blocks ensure a close road contact, which allows the tire to greatly decrease the road vibrations reaching the vehicle’s cabin. This results in a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
