The model promotes excellent summer performance. The asymmetric tread design and the summer compound work together to improve dry and wet weather performance. In other words, the optimal tread can maintain close surface contact, while the compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area. This enables the tire to ensure a safe summer performance. On the other hand, circumferential grooves resist hydroplaning. These grooves eliminate water from the footprint, protecting it from slipping in wet situations.
The tire also boosts overall controllability. The ideal tread pattern manages to keep the road contact all the time, which improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. It increases the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against driving pressure. Wide shoulder blocks upgrade cornering capability.
