Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.

General Grabber APT Tires

The General Grabber APT is an all terrain, all weather tire made for SUVs and light trucks. General offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty.

The tire promotes a safer all terrain performance. The Duragen compound and the optimal tread design increase soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip. This combination guarantees the tire's on- and off-road terrain grip throughout the performance. They upgrade traction and improve forward motion at all times, upgrading soft dirt and deep muddy traction. The tread elements also keep the footprint clean. They disperse mud and snow and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements, maintaining the surface contact and effectively avoiding stone retention from harming the footprint.

The tread pattern utilizes the StabiliTread technology to elongate usability. They secure the footprint, preventing tread flexing while the tires are in motion. Tread flexing generates unnecessary friction between the tire and the driving surface, enabling the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure affecting the model. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering, and braking effectively avoid premature and irregular wear formations across the footprint. This enables the tire to significantly lengthen its tread life.

The stabilized footprint and the stronger internal structure enable the tire to upgrade its heavy-duty performance. The secured surface contact increases steering responsiveness and driving stability. These tread elements upgrade the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure along the footprint. The stronger structure also increases load handling. The reinforced steel belt structure upgrades load and driving durability, preventing the tire from deforming under such pressure. This greatly improves the tire's load capacity.

The General Grabber APT promotes a comfortable on-road performance. The Comfort Balance technology allows the tire to closely follow the road surface. The maintained ideal tire shape and the close surface contact enable the tire to absorb the shock of driving. This allows the tire to reduce road and tread pattern noise felt in the vehicle's cabin, while also decreasing vibrations. This guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
